A charming lodge with a stunning garden, a restaurant where I ate like a queen, and a shared kitchen where I pretended to be a chef. Oh, and I also enjoyed some lovely hikes nearby.
Just a tiny inconvenience, the monkeys on the roof woke me up with their noisy breakfast party.

Great location, nestled in the forest just above the lake, the lodge is a short walk from the main attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the homemade dinner, which was delicious and prepared by a local. the Wi-Fi reception was strong, allowing me to stay connected during my stay.
Getting to the hotel was a bit challenging, as it required climbing a steep set of stairs. Some tuk-tuk drivers were hesitant to take us all the way, which resulted in a longer walk than expected.

The room we stayed in had an amazing mountain view that took our breath away. The cool air conditioning and flat-screen TV made our stay even more comfortable. Plus, having a kitchen with a dining area was perfect for enjoying meals together.
Personally, I found the bidet in the private bathroom unnecessary. But hey, that's just my opinion and others might actually appreciate it.

The room had an amazing mountain view that left me in awe. With air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, I felt right at home. The kitchen with a dining area was a big plus for me as I love cooking my own meals.
The only downside for me was the bidet in the private bathroom. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

The lodge had everything I needed, like a restaurant and a shared kitchen. The buffet breakfast was scrumptious. Plus, there was hiking nearby for added adventure.
Who needs window in the bathroom anyway? Showering in the dark with bugs sounds like a lovely idea!

During my stay at Udawatta Kele Villa, I was amazed by the exceptional hospitality provided by the owners. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The property itself was clean, quiet, and offered a beautiful environment. The breakfast served was absolutely delicious, and the rooms were spacious and cozy with comfortable beds. Additionally, the owner proved to be a knowledgeable guide, helping me plan my trip and providing valuable insights about the local area. The proximity to the Temple of Tooth Relic and the stunning view over Kandy were definite highlights. Despite the stairs leading to the property, the effort was worth it for the breathtaking scenery. I highly recommend this villa for its outstanding hospitality and excellent amenities. I highly recommend this villa for its outstanding hospitality, excellent amenities, and breathtaking scenery.

We had a blast exploring the Udawatta Kele Forest Lodge, which was super close to the hotel. The hiking trails were so cool, and we had the best adventure ever! Plus, being just a short distance from Bogambara Stadium and the Kandy City Center Shopping Mall was a huge bonus. We had plenty of options for shopping and entertainment. It was the perfect place for young, adventurous souls like us!
If there's one thing we wished for, it would be more nightlife options for party-going teenagers like us. While the hotel itself was awesome, we would have loved to have more fun activities specifically geared towards young people who want to dance the night away.
